The Blossom Premiere Vision show, which was held on July 4 and 5, 2018, in Paris, France, recorded a 20 per cent rise in visitors. The show, dedicated to materials for fashion, welcomed around 1,266 visitors from all over the world, with around 111 exhibitors, including weavers, tanners, and accessories makers, showing the autumn/winter 2019-20 collection.

The fair presented an ultra-selective international offer from 111 exhibitors, which included 73 weavers, 30 tanners, and eight accessory and component manufacturers, adapted to the exclusive needs of major fashion houses. The show targeted extremely high-quality visitors, whose numbers grew by 20 per cent coming growingly from abroad/.

The show was timed to align with the calendar of pre-collections, and complementary to the Première Vision Paris calendar, which targets main collections. It was an effective event, designed with an eye to creative interaction and discussion, to allow buyers to work with their usual suppliers while taking the time to discover new ones.

The fair invited exhibitors and visitors to share a culturally inspiring moment, by organising a private visit to the retrospective exhibition MARGIELA / GALLIERA, 1989-2009 devoted to Martin Margiela at the Palais Galliera.

For two days, Blossom Première Vision welcomed visitors from the most prestigious fashion and luxury houses, who came to discover and select new product developments and all the latest fabric and colour innovations to build their pre-collections.

Targeted by the show’s organisers for their high creative and quality positioning, it brought together leading French fashion houses (82 per cent of visitors), as well as a growing percentage of leading international brands (18 per cent). Following France, Italy had the second largest number of visitors, with attendance up by 50 per cent over July 2017. In third place, visitors from the United Kingdom also increased (+12 per cent), as did Belgium, whose visitor numbers doubled.
