Ex-Ralph Lauren manager gets 20 days for embezzlement
A former Ralph Lauren senior manager convicted of racking up thousands of bogus charges on her corporate credit card in an embezzlement scheme was sentenced to 20 days in the slammer.
Alexandra Bocon, 33, copped to third-degree larceny in a plea deal in January in Manhattan Supreme Court that gave her prison time plus five years of probation.
A chic-dressed Bocon appeared in court with short ombre hair and dark-rimmed glasses.
She declined to apologize for her actions.
The Pratt grad created two bogus businesses and linked them to Square
Cash accounts, making $25,000 worth of unauthorized payments to these
businesses. Ralph Lauren immediately fired the preppy exec upon
discovery.
