The World''s largest international trade fair for home and
contract textiles, namely Heimtextil, kicked off Tuesday in Frankfurt.The
textile interior design is the focus of international attention at the four-day
trade fair, where suppliers present their textile products and material
solutions in an exclusive setting, aiming specifically at architects, interior
decorators, interior designers, project planners and hoteliers.
"With 2,975 exhibitors from 64 countries and
regions, Heimtextil is on a growth course for the eighth consecutive
year," said Detlef Braun, CEO of Messe Frankfurt.Martin Auerbach, Managing Director of the Association of the German Home
Textiles Manufacturers, pointed out that the diversity of home textiles
products, designs and colours made the international trade fair platform for
home textiles a trailblazing annual event to start the year.Although the economy over the past year was likely to remain
below expectations, "the overall mood in the sector is good."He
added.
The company has garnered topline of Rs.159 crores in FY2017, with an implied
CAGR of 9% over the past four years. It is targeting to leverage branded space
and high-end offerings in the textile space. SKS is currently operating with
three brands including Pierricarrlo, Cotbelly’s and Earthen Belly.SKS Textiles has an installed capacity of 39 lakh meters per
annum made out of manmade and natural fibres with specialization in Giza,
Supima, Cotton, Polyester Viscose and Polyester Cotton.
