Pure London, the UK’s most
sought after show for fashion, buying and inspiration, has appointed Julie
Driscoll as managing director with immediate effect. Previously the show’s
portfolio director, Julie’s promotion to managing director will drive a host of
exciting changes and new launches for the February show, taking place from
February 11 to 13, 2018.
Julie Driscoll said: “It is a very exciting time
in the evolution of Pure London and I’m looking forward to working with our
fantastic team, our partners, suppliers and exhibitors to continue to improve
on what we offer, making Pure London truly unmissable. Our AW18/19 manifesto
sets the scene towards a new direction next year. Celebrating fashion at its
most ambitious, style at its most unabashed, all within our great cultural
home, London at its most magnificent. From the carefully edited sectors,
suppliers and manufacturers we represent to the industry knowledge and smart
insight we deliver, to the premium buyers we bring through our doors, we will
embody fashion at its purest and the passion it incites in all of us.”
Julie continues to lead Jewellery & Watch, the
UK’s largest dedicated jewellery trade event, working alongside Louise Young, managing
director of Spring and Autumn Fair. Jewellery & Watch takes place during
February 4-8, 2018 in Birmingham, co-located with Spring Fair. The next edition of Pure London will take place during
February 11-13 at London Olympia.
